One of the key things people ask us when they’re looking to build a pool is, “How long will it take?” There are a few factors to consider that will influence how long it will take to construct your pool. These include (but are not limited to):
- Planning your pool
- What type of pool you choose (e.g. concrete or fibreglass)
- The time of the year you build
- Approval from local authorities
- Any other contractors required

While sites differ, the general installation process will look similar between pools.
Day 0: Prior works completed and signed off (site specific i.e retaining)
Day 1: Site Clearing and Access
Day 1: Excavations & groundworks
Day 1-2: Pool Placement (Crane in / Hi-Ab / Digger lift) prep ground and base (a few hours to 1 day) We allow a certain fee in the pool price some additional charges may apply to your site
Day 3-4: Plumbing from pool to pump shed + back-filling (in-ground pools) (1 – 3 days depending on distance to equipment shed and access).
Day 4: Pool room plumbing (if concrete slab has been laid).
Day 5: Pool wiring (1-2 days), you may wish to have arranged your electrician to meet us at the beginning of install week.We are often able to assist with trenching for cables at stage 2 with excavation.
Following week: Coping Stone Fitting (1-3 days)
